Speech-Language Pathologist | Ventura, CA | $90/hr | Full-Time | 18-Week Contract

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide therapy services in elementary and middle school settings. The SLP will perform evaluations, implement individualized treatment plans, and document therapy services in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care.

Position Overview

+ Location: Ventura, CA

+ Grade Levels: 1x Elementary, 1x Middle School

+ Start Date: December 1, 2025

+ End Date: End of school year (approx. 18 weeks)

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

+ Work Hours: 40 hrs/week

+ Caseload: Approx. 52 students

+ Setting: In-person; no SDC classes, caseload includes speech and language students from general education and those receiving SAI

+ Pay Rate: $90/hr (Local)

+ Travel Package: $3,939/week

Responsibilities

+ Conduct evaluations and provide speech-language therapy services

+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

+ Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines

+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success

Requirements

+ Active California SLP license

+ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

+ School-based experience preferred

+ Current CPR (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per state/contract regulations)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Minimum age: 18
