    DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a highly qualified candidate for a full-time, tenure-track teaching position in an 8:1+1 special class, with a focus on behavior.The successful candidate must possess strong case management, classroom management, and organizational skills. This role requires knowledgeof early childhood development, individualized instruction, behavioral interventions, and progress monitoring. Critical to this position is the ability tocreate a predictable, safe, and supportive learning environment for students with intensive needs, while also demonstrating strong collaboration skillsand an inclusive mindset.SALARY:Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers’ ContractQUALIFICATIONS:New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education (Elementary, B-2, 1-6, or K-12 is required.) Applicants must pose astrong interest in working as a special educator in an integrated or special class setting. Experience in an 8:1+1 program supporting students with significant behavioral, social-emotional, and self-regulation needs ishighly preferred. Candidates should have experience working with students classified with Emotional Disability (ED) and OtherHealth Impairments (OHI), including those with ADHD, anxiety, trauma histories, or related challenges.
