Required Education/Experience
+ Doctor of Medicine/MD and 6 years Post-graduate experience in a primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting.
Preferred Education/Experience
+ 3 years Experience in occupational health
Relevant Work Experience
+ Must have professional, polished oral and written communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email. Required
+ Must have strong interpersonal skills. Required
+ Expertise in computer applications MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. Required
+ Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills are required to be effective in this role. Required
+ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills will allow candidates to be flexible to manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines, which is also required for this position. Required
+ Previous experience with electronic medical records, specifically Medgate preferred. Preferred
+ Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts of OSHA regulations.
Licenses and Certifications
+ Driver's License Required
+ Other: License to practice medicine in New York State, or the ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license upon appointment. Required and
+ Other: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine. 1 Year Required and
+ Other: NRCME certification. 90 Days Required and
+ Other: MRO certification. 180 Days Required
Additional Physical Demands
+ Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
+ Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
