Job Description

This person will be responsible for creating installation procedures for the field technicians to follow, going from foundation to installation of equipment, commissioning, revising and updating procedures, reviewing drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, reviewing schematics, reviewing single line diagrams (electrical drawings), general arrangement drawings. And enforcing industry standard codes. Soft skills are a must since they are creating the narrative of these procedure.

Skills and Requirements

Electrical Engineering Degree + 4 years of experience

8+ Years of field experience if no bachelor's degree

Experienced within power systems within the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, EPC, Powerplant, and Renewables industry.

Experience with Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers, Control Transformers, Current Transformers, Automatic Voltage Regulator, and Static Frequency Converter

Knowledge of standard codes (ASME, ISO, OSHA)

NOT LOOKING FOR DESIGNERS!

Soft skills are a must! Great written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking and analytical skills. Able to speak Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Japanese.

Experience with Turbines (steam, gas, etc.)
