CDL Driver/Warehouse Technician
Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated CDL Driver/Warehouse Technician to join our Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) team** **.** **In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of commercial vehicles, including Department of Transportation (DOT) and Class B trucks, to transport client materials, while also performing essential warehouse functions** **.** **As a Mobile Shred Operator, you will act as the public face of ALM, engaging with clients and co-workers in a professional manner** **.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
+ **Safely operate and maintain commercial vehicles for local and regional pickups, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections and strictly adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety policies** **.**
+ **Organize and manage inventory within the warehouse, utilizing equipment like forklifts to efficiently prepare and process materials, including picking, packing, and labeling gaylords for shipment** **.**
+ **Engage with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth material handling, assisting with loading and unloading freight and maintaining a clean and organized work environment** **.**
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
+ **A minimum age of 21 with a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a good driving record** **.**
+ **Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and the proven ability to perform safe, efficient driving and material handling procedures** **.**
+ **Proven ability in customer service and verbal communication to professionally engage with clients and stakeholders** **.**
+ **The ability to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical** **.**
What We Offer (Benefits)
+ **Salary details: $25.00 per hour** **.**
+ **Shifts: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am until the end of the shift, 4-5 days, with Overnight Travel (OTR) possible in Sterling, Reston, and Ashburn (based on business needs)** **.**
