    In this position...

     

    We are looking for an experienced hardware development engineer to design eDrive motor components, stator, and rotor assemblies to package in transmission and motor housing.

     

    As a team player, you will partner with suppliers, design and release engineers, and transmission, to design and validate eMotor hardware components and assemblies.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    + Develop eDrive motor components and assembly design, models (3D) and drawings (2D) that are capable of being produced

    + Interface with Basic Design, D&R engineers, and suppliers to ensure design is compatible with all requirements

    + Develop GD&T and perform axial and radial tolerance stack-up analysis.

     

    You'll have...

     

    + Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)

    + 3+ years of experience in hardware design and development using CATIA V5

    + 3+ years of experience in automotive industry

     

    Even better, you may have...

     

    + Master's of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)

    + 5+ years of experience in hardware design and development using CATIA V5

    + 5+ years of experience in automotive industry

    + Proficient in powertrain component design

    + Expert level user of CATIA V5

    + Experience in Team Center Engineering

    + Experience with transmission packaging interface

    + Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams and driving product development issues to resolution

    + Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, self-motivated, eager to take responsibility and deliver results with minimal supervision
