    Are you tired of quickly shuffling and hurrying between patients?  Are you tired of your hours being unexpectedly cut?  Join the Meadows of Wadena as a Staff Nurse, RN and make a meaningful difference in resident care for our seniors.  In this position, you will work closely with a dedicated care team, helping to ensure our assisted living and memory care residents receive the high-quality care that The Meadows of Wadena is recognized for.

    The Staff Nurse works closely with our entire management team to accomplish:

    + New admissions and discharges.

    + Order, prepare, and/or administer medications.

    + Transcribe and assist with implementation of physician orders.

    + Monitor resident health and respond to change in conditions appropriately.

    + Assist with the training and supervision of direct care staff.

    We are seeking one person to work approximately 30+ hours/week (insurance benefits eligible) or two people to each work 16-24 hours week (insurance benefits not available).

     

    Wage: $34 - $38/hour

    Our Staff Nurse must:

    + Genuinely care about and be committed to the well-being of seniors in our care.

    + Have a solid general nursing background, with geriatric experience preferred, but not required.

    + Have good judgment, leadership, and problem-solving skills, be dependable and able to work with minimal direct supervision once trained.

    + Understand, read, write, and speak English.

    + Be authorized by the State of Minnesota to work, unsupervised, with our residents as determined by a background study.

    + Be a currently licensed RN in the State of Minnesota.
