    Summary:

    This position is responsible for working with families in assessing and communicating the developmental needs of their child.

     

    • Strong knowledge base of child development with emphasis on understanding of the sequence of child development milestones. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s degree preferred.

    • Conduct Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3), interpret results, report and make referrals to supportive agencies as needed.

    • Effective parent engagement skills to assist with providing education and strategies to promote healthy development of their child.

    • Knowledge of community resources and local system of care for the early childhood population.

    • This is a 40 hour exempt position that requires some late afternoon/early evening hours as well as an occasional Saturday.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bilingual Required

    Education:

    + **Required:** Bachelors Degree - Health Education or Related Field

    + **Preferred:** Masters Degree - Health Education or related field

    Experience:

    + **Required:** Minimum 5 years working in early childhood development with Bachelors degree or 3 years with Master's degree

    + **Required:** Experience performing and interpreting testing with children under 5

    + **Required:** Case Management experience

     

    Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: Yes

     

    Shift Hours:** **9:00am - 5:00pm

     

    Weekend Work:** **Occasional

    On Call:** **No
