About the Role:
Utilizes skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of building, systems, equipment and grounds at our client locations, all within proximity of each other. Working under limited supervision, utilizes skills such as carpentry, painting, furniture assembly, locksmith, minor plumbing and electrical.
What You’ll Do:
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company
directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Reviews of all work orders submitted. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair and communicates with requestor. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all assigned tasks. Schedules vendors as needed
• Performs daily facility tours, including auditing bathrooms, kitchens and conference rooms. Documents find and proactively recommend appropriate actions for repairs. Ensuring facility is maintained to client specifications from an organizational and safety perspective
• Acts as a liaison with work being performed by outside contractors as needed. Contracted work includes snowplowing, remodeling, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, food service, event and equipment setup and breakdown and cleaning.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Occasional weekend work. Support 3 rd party vendors completing contracted work
• Travel to other local client locations. 20%
• Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
+ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Self-starter and being proactive are very important.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $55,000 annually [or $26.44 per hour] and the maximum salary for the is $64,000 annually [or $30.77 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
