    Job Description:

    A challenging and rewarding job opportunity for a Senior Production Planner. The ideal candidate will be a self-starting, self-motivated individual who will be responsible for developing the production schedule assisting the operations team in schedule execution.     Core Responsibilities:

    * Utilizes ERP to develop and communicate production schedule by ensuring schedule is accurately reflected in the ERP system and the cell communication boards.

    * Assures internal and external customer requirements are met in accordance with the Production Schedule.

    * Track progress of jobs from launch through completion and support operations with expediting as required.

    * Assist production supervision with level loading workcenter schedules, maintaining throughput objectives and balancing the line.

    * Maintain Line-of-Balance tracking for critical programs.

    * Track performance to monthly forecast including risks and opportunities.

    * Liaison between operations and customer service, ensuring customer service has accurate delivery dates and timely notification of delays.

    * Analyze component consumption rates and maintain system parameters & safety stock accordingly.

    * Works closely with Purchasing to ensure vendors delivery date is aligned with the needs of the business.

    * Ensures incoming orders, shipments, material transactions and other logistics activities are performed in a timely and efficient manner.

    * Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    * 5 plus years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in the Aerospace industry.

    * ERP / MRP Experience required, Syteline 9 experience preferred

    * Strong Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.

    * Experience with Power BI a plus.

    * Ability to prioritize workload as conflicts arise and resolve issues in a timely manner.

    * Balance customer needs while protecting the interests of the company.

    * Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    * Comfort working in a constantly changing environment. Adaptability & flexibility are critical in this role

    * Candidate must be able to work well in both a team environment and across various departmental functions within the company.

    Education Requirements:

    * BS Degree Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.

    Software/Tools Used:

    • ERP / MRP Experience required, Syteline 9 experience preferred

    • Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required

    • Power BI a plus.
