As a **Security Officer - Retail Driving Patrol** in **Greensboro, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the retail location. Your primary responsibilities will involve driving and patrolling assigned areas, engaging with visitors and staff, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, suspicious activity, and/or disturbances.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or assisting with crowd management as needed.

+ Support emergency response activities and communicate with Allied Universal management and site contacts as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
