Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrician to join our team and lead electrical installations of Generac generators for our growing client base. If you’re a skilled electrician with leadership experience and a strong commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee the installation of standby generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS).

+ Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electric Code (NEC) and state/local regulations.

+ Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices on the job site.

+ Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project plans.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during and after installation.

+ Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all work is performed according to company safety policies.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and job records.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical installation experience, especially with Generac generators.

+ Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project plans.

+ Ability to supervise and mentor team members.

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

+ Commitment to safety and adherence to NEC and state/local regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience running conduit, PVC, rigid, and pipe.

+ Experience with pulling wire, cable tray, and blueprints.

+ Must provide own basic electrical tools and voltmeter.

Work Environment

The role involves installing generators at residential homes, working Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Start your day by driving to the Mount Pleasant location to pick up a company truck and return it at the end of the day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of North Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr.
