    Job Title: Shipping Associate

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to join our team. The role involves receiving materials from vendors and customers, verifying the quantity and description of materials, and examining incoming shipments for damages. The position operates in two shifts: Receiving from 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM, and Shipping from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive materials entering the building by vendors and customers.

    + Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking against the packing list.

    + Examine incoming shipments and reject damaged items; report and record any discrepancies.

    + Enter the quantity received against the purchase/production order in the computer system.

    Essential Skills

    + Inventory management

    + Shipping and receiving

    + Picking and warehouse operations

    + Forklift experience with certification

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + No degree required

    + Ability to stand for long periods and lift, pull, and push up to 60 lbs.

    + Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
