Job Title: Ammonia Refrigeration Technician
Job Description
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on ammonia systems in a food manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
+ Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems.
+ Troubleshoot and repair ammonia systems effectively.
+ Take system readings and perform necessary adjustments.
+ Ensure compliance with GMP standards daily.
Essential Skills
+ Experience as an ammonia technician.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair ammonia systems.
+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Technical certification or associate degree in a relevant maintenance field.
+ Experience in food manufacturing or with GMP standards is a significant advantage.
+ Willingness to transition from general refrigeration to ammonia systems.

Work Environment
The work environment is a refrigerated food manufacturing plant where adherence to GMP standards is mandatory. Work shifts include 1st shift (5am-5:30pm) and 3rd shift (5pm-5am), with an average of 48 hours per week over 5-6 days. Basic and specialty tools are provided, but employees have the option to bring their own basic tools if preferred.

This is a Permanent position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in San Antonio,TX.
