Job Description

Join our team as a Forklift Operator and Material Handler in a large distribution center. You will be responsible for building pallets for canned dry goods to be shipped to grocery stores and retailers. In this role, you will operate a stand-up forklift in a fast-paced production environment, picking, packing, and customizing pallets based on client orders. A headset will guide you through the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

+ Build pallets for canned dry goods according to client orders.

+ Operate a stand-up forklift in a fast-paced environment.

+ Pick and pack items using a headset for guidance.

+ Navigate the warehouse efficiently to fulfill orders.

+ Ensure each pallet is customized to client specifications.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with forklift operation, specifically stand-up forklifts.

+ Order picking and packing skills.

+ Ability to perform general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day.

+ Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.

+ Minimum of 6 months of forklift experience, or over 1 year in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
