Warehouse Associate On 1st Shift In Carlsbad, CA

Job Description

The shipping and receiving clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receiving, shipping, storage, movement, and organization of materials within the warehouse. This position requires experience with stand-up forklifts and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

+ Perform shipping and receiving (local/international)

+ Safely and professionally operate stand up forklift

+ Organize and replenish orders on rack per aisle specification

+ Operate scanner gun for various tasks- picking and pulling orders

+ Utilize computer system to locate ingredients and supplies

+ Effectively communicate with production management and weigh up

+ Alert management if any discrepancies on orders/ tags

+ Process UPS & FedEx packages upon arrival

+ Load and unload trucks as needed

+ Affix SU tag - confirm lot and quantity

+ Perform inventory and cycle counts

+ Perform daily forklift check

+ Read work orders daily

+ Follow safety protocols

Essential Skills

+ Clear written and verbal communication skills.

+ Detail-oriented with the ability to read lot numbers preferred.

+ Experience and certification in forklift and motorized pallet jack operation.

+ Proficiency in spoken and written English.

+ Computer literacy with basic numeracy skills.

Work Environment

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some overtime and flexibility for Saturdays as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CARLSBAD, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.54 - $21.54/hr.
