    Job Title: Flagger

    Job Description

    We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Flagger to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing traffic around utility work zones, ensuring the safety of both workers and the public. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with worksite locations varying weekly.

    Responsibilities

    + Safely direct traffic around utility work zones using hand signals, signs, and communication devices.

    + Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control equipment including cones, signage, and barricades.

    + Monitor traffic patterns and adjust controls to maintain safety and minimize disruptions.

    + Communicate effectively with team members and the public to provide clear instructions and updates.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous experience in utility or construction environments is a plus.

    + Strong communication and situational awareness skills.

    + Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in traffic management, construction, highway, roadway, and outdoor work environments.

    Work Environment

     

    Work is conducted outdoors in utility work zones, including streets, sidewalks, and rights-of-way, with exposure to traffic, noise, and varying weather conditions. Candidates must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, stand for long periods with minimal breaks, and commute to job sites, which may be up to an hour from Blawnox, PA.

    This is a Permanent position based out of McKees Rocks, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $34320.00 - $34320.00/yr.
