Quality Inspector – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the Role

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that both supplied and internally produced materials meet strict specifications. You’ll use advanced measurement tools and vision systems to verify accuracy, maintain product traceability, and uphold the highest standards of compliance.

What You’ll Do

+ Perform detailed inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.

+ Utilize precision measurement tools such as **micrometers, calipers, and MicroVu vision systems** .

+ Support inspections for **receiving, first articles, labeling, and final product release** .

+ Document findings, maintain traceability, and manage non-conforming materials.

+ Conduct occasional simple statistical analysis to support quality decisions.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

+ **Experience:** 2+ years in a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment.

+ **Technical Skills:** Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and comfortable using MicroVu Systems.

+ **Attention to Detail:** Ability to spot discrepancies and ensure compliance with strict specifications.

+ **Adaptability:** Thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

+ **Communication:** Strong ability to work across teams and clearly report findings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
