    Job Title: Commercial Roofer

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Commercial Roofer, where you will assist in the installation of various commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing. Your role will involve loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment at job sites, removing old roofing materials, and preparing surfaces for new installations. You will operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow safety procedures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Supporting the roofing crew with tasks as directed by the foreman or superintendent and performing general labor duties such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials are also part of this role. Additionally, you will help with waterproofing, flashing, and sealing roof penetrations.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the installation of commercial roofing systems.

    + Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.

    + Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations.

    + Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    + Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in roofing or construction preferred but not required.

    + Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

    + Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

    + Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods.

    + Reliable transportation to job sites.

    + OSHA 10 certification is a plus.

    + Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
