Job Title: BESS Technician II / O&M Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled technician to join our team and work on a BESS project located in Dateland, AZ. The role involves maintaining and operating an energy storage facility, ensuring its optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on GPTech and EPC Inverters.

+ Handle technical and administrative duties associated with operating and maintaining the energy storage facility.

+ Coordinate and manage contractors for maintenance activities.

+ Provide support for commissioning activities as needed.

+ Lead or support warranty claims processes with vendors.

+ Ensure compliance with Environmental and Safety requirements.

+ Work independently and collaboratively with team members.

+ Demonstrate emotional intelligence and teamwork in a collaborative environment.

Essential Skills

+ At least two years of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) experience in a power plant.

+ Experience with Utility Scale PV or BESS Sites is preferred.

+ Proven experience with a variety of electrical equipment.

+ Basic IT knowledge and remote communications equipment proficiency.

+ Ability to prioritize and plan maintenance on energy storage equipment.

+ Understanding of general workplace safety and ability to follow safety standards.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.

+ Ability to research and interpret technical documents and data.

+ Technical proficiency with standard business software.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dateland, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
