Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The maintenance technician will work within the powertrain team to achieve key results aligned with company goals. This role requires a strong knowledge of troubleshooting PM and Electrical Systems. The technician must be proactive, communicative, and skilled in problem-solving, with a working knowledge of standard automotive OEM process equipment and related systems. The main responsibility is to maintain and repair machinery, mechanical equipment, and the structural components of the establishment.
Work Environment
The work schedule includes Shift A: Sunday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Tuesday from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Wednesday from 5:00 am to 11:30 am. The role requires standing, stooping, walking, lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds, and performing similar actions. Work typically involves 40-48 hours a week over four days, contributing to building cars in a busy production environment.
Responsibilities
+ Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
+ Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure machinery runs smoothly.
+ Ensure building systems operate efficiently.
+ Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, and replace filters.
+ Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, and plumbing.
+ Record the type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
+ Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.
+ Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and tools.
+ Possess basic knowledge of tools and machines, including design, use, repair, and maintenance.
Essential Skills
+ Maintenance technician experience
+ PLC troubleshooting and programming
+ Automation and preventive maintenance
+ Pneumatics and electromechanical troubleshooting
+ Experience with shafts, motors, chains, conveyor systems, and PLC systems
+ Troubleshooting robots and automated equipment
+ Pneumatic and hydraulic control systems
+ Operation of cylinders and valves
+ Experience using multimeters and diagnostic tools
+ 8 to 10 years of experience required
+ High school diploma or GED
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Understanding of electrical control systems
+ Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
+ Familiarity with shafts, motors, chains, and conveyor-related equipment
+ Understanding of PLC logic controls (Rockwell/Siemens)
+ Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
+ Ability to operate mobile equipment such as forklifts
+ Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record

This is a Contract position based out of Eloy, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr.
