Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in South Orange County. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate processing of invoices, payments, and financial records. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic accounting and finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and code invoices to the appropriate accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Manage accounts payable operations, including ACH transfers and check runs, to facilitate timely payments.

• Collaborate with team members to support ad hoc reporting and provide insights into financial data.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze and organize financial information effectively.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all accounts payable transactions.

• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate payments are made.

• Assist in streamlining accounts payable processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Work closely with the accounting and finance team to support overall financial operations.

• Ensure adherence to deadlines for payment schedules and reporting requirements.

• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation related to accounts payable activities

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable, including coding invoices and managing payments.

• Familiarity with ACH transfers and check runs as part of payment processing.

• Proficiency in Excel with the ability to handle complex functions and data analysis.
