The Cost Accountant will be responsible for...

• Perform comprehensive cost accounting processes, including tracking and analyzing costs associated with manufacturing operations.

• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, assessing discrepancies, and ensuring accurate reporting.

• Conduct variance analysis to identify and address deviations from expected costs and budgets.

• Evaluate excess and obsolete inventory to minimize financial impact and improve resource utilization.

• Oversee warranty-related financial activities, ensuring proper accounting and cost allocation.

• Maintain and track fixed assets, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations for cost improvements.

• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management review.

• Support audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.

Requirements

The ideal Cost Accountant comes with...

+ 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience with a manufacturing company

+ Cost accounting, a plus
