    AR/Credit Analyst needed in Tampa FL!

     

    As an AR/Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in assessing the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers by obtaining information from credit bureaus and other services. You will also be responsible for compiling credit information and preparing comprehensive reports for decision-making purposes.

    Responsibilities

    + Obtain information about potential and existing customers from credit bureaus and other credit services.

    + Investigate the history and credit standing of business establishments applying for credit.

    + Compile credit information and prepare reports of findings for use in decision-making.

    + Assist analysts with obtaining documentation for new credit applications and setting up accounts.

    + Assist with collections as needed.

    + Ensure timely and accurate processing and reporting of credit information.

    + Maintain accurate and current records and files for account information integrity.

    + Conduct audit confirmations and verifications, including internal, external, and customer-generated requests.

    + Implement proper, effective, and efficient work methods.

    + Carry out company policy and programs.

    + Conduct credit reviews for opening new accounts and assessing existing accounts.

    + Assist in setting up new accounts, including data entry, establishing credit files, and interfacing with the sales team.

    + Conduct efficient and effective credit reviews and updates to ensure risk management.

    + Cooperate with supervisors and other departments to maintain coordinated efficiency in credit operations.

    + Perform other duties as assigned by the Credit Manager and/or Credit Supervisor.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in AR, credit and collections, credit analysis, and credit risk.

    + Proficiency in credit review and understanding credit worthiness.

    + Ability to analyze financial statements.

    + Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Lookups.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited university preferred.

    + If no Bachelor's Degree, then 2-4+ years of AR Analyst or Credit Analysis experience required.

    + SAP experience is strongly preferred but not required.

The position includes a hybrid schedule with one work-from-home day per week.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
