Telecom Construction Coordinator

Contract - Long Term

Manchester, NH (In Office/In the Field)

Job Description

+ Ensures the execution of overhead/underground construction duties including: placing hard-line connectivity platforms, frame and strand poles, etc.

+ Investigates and monitors accurate record keeping concerning project start milestone dates, production logs, material costs, and labor expenditures.

+ Supports specialists and leadership team with coordination of projects.

+ Reviews and follows up with customer requests and complaints.

+ Conducts site surveys and coordinates daily activities of business support, technical, or production staff.

+ Sets priorities for the team - assigns tasks and checks work at regular intervals.

+ Updates the JT or Polaris entry job docs/maps QC for path verification.

+ Primary contractor interface day-to-day in the field and in turn acts as the NGAN liaison with the Regional network Technicians.

+ New or upgraded power supply in place and operational in continuity prior to cut date.

+ Overall responsibility of the quality of the NGAN product: from the contractor building and to the Operations we hand off to.

+ It is expected that this role is in the field 75% of the time.

Requirements:

+ 3-5 years of OSP, Fiber, and Coax construction experience

+ Knowledge of: pole distance, pole surveys, multi-dwelling units

+ Experience coordinating/supervising teams.

+ Ability to travel within a 1.5 hour radius into various areas of NH and Northern MA.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Manchester, NH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
