We are seeking a highly skilled **Cyara Automation Engineer** who is the gatekeeper of the automated customer experience, ensuring that the technology customers interact with (especially over the phone) is robust, high-quality, and delivers a flawless experience.
Work Model: Hybrid
Experience: 7 – 10 Years

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000/Year to $100,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Key Responsibilities:
• Script Development & Maintenance: Design, write, and maintain complex automation scripts and test cases primarily using the Cyara Platform (Velocity, Cruncher, Pulse) to simulate real-world customer interactions.
• Contact Center Testing: Execute automated functional, regression, and performance testing for key Contact Center applications, including IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems, call routing, CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), and agent desktop applications.
• Framework Management: Design and develop scalable and flexible automation test frameworks, integrating Cyara with other internal systems and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Defect Management: Analyze test results, identify, reproduce, and document defects (bugs) in detail, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Performance & Load Testing: Utilize Cyara's capabilities to conduct load and stress testing on Contact Center infrastructure to ensure systems can handle expected call volumes and traffic.
Qualifications:
• Automation Tools: Cyara Platform (Velocity, Cruncher, Pulse, Botium), Selenium, Appium, Postman, SoapUI.
• Contact Center: Strong knowledge of IVR call flows and logic, Genesys, Cisco UCCE/UCCX, Avaya, or other CCaaS/UCaaS platforms.
• Programming: Proficiency in scripting/programming languages like Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Ruby for developing test scripts and frameworks.
• Testing Concepts: Expertise in QA methodologies, test strategy design, test case management, and various testing types (functional, regression, system, end-to-end, performance).
• DevOps/CI/CD: Experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
