    School Psychologist

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    Duration: Through June

     

    Schedule: 3–5 days/week, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    Role Overview

    The School Psychologist provides on-site psychological services to students, supporting mental health and developmental needs and assisting in determining eligibility for additional support services. This role focuses on assessments for children ages 3–5 and includes collaboration with parents and multidisciplinary teams.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct psychological assessments for children ages 3–5

    + Communicate findings and recommendations to parents and families

    + Collaborate with Child Find team and related service providers (OT, SLP, BCBA)

    + Assist in determining eligibility for IEP and other support services

    + Document in Tienet (IEP system)

    Minimum Requirements

    + Current Maryland School Psychologist License

    + MD 486, CPS, FP, MSDE credentialing

    + Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred)

    + Experience with pediatric/adolescent populations

    + Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Current CPR, TB screening, and health certificate (if applicable)

    + Must be at least 18 years old
