Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift, Corrections

Contract Length: 8 weeks

Position Overview

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our corrections healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential patient care in a secure environment, supervise healthcare staff, and ensure compliance with professional standards and facility policies. Schedule

Rotating 36/48 hour shifts, every other weekend

+ Shift: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

+ Candidates must be able to work this rotating schedule to be considered.

Compensation

Local pay rate: $55/hour (OT $82.50)

Qualifications

+ Active RN license in Virginia

+ Minimum of one year of nursing experience required; prior corrections nursing experience strongly preferred

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)

+ Compliance with federal, state, and local requirements

+ Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a secure environment

+ Computer proficiency and strong communication skills; English language proficiency required
