    Position Summary:

    The Department of Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time academic faculty position in Colorectal Surgery at the Assistant Professor level. This position is based in the Baltimore area. The ideal candidate will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, innovation, and research within one of the nation's leading academic health systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care in colorectal surgery, managing both benign and malignant diseases using open, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques.

    + Play an active role in surgical education, including bedside teaching, didactic instruction, and curriculum development for residents and fellows.

    + Engage in clinical or translational research initiatives with opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration.

    + Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety efforts within the division and across the Johns Hopkins Health System.

    + Participate in institutional and departmental service, including committee work and professional society involvement.

     

    Salary: $325,000 - $375,000

    Job Type: Full Time

    The listed salary range represents the minimum and maximum Johns Hopkins University offers for this position, based on a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, education, and internal equity. Not all candidates will qualify for the highest salary in the range.
