    Job Description

    An employer sitting in Simi Valley, CA is looking to hire an ONSITE Senior Finance Manufacturing Manager. This person will be acting as a liaison between finance and operations. He/she will be applying their knowledge of cost accounting, and how they collect costs in a manufacturing environment. This person will be utilizing Oracle Fusion going into the finance module, looking up costs of a product etc. This person will be walking the manufacturing floor, handling BOM's, understanding inventory count, cycle counts, looking at work order variances, understanding trends and anomalies and other times variance analysis. This person needs to understand reverse transactions, providing manufacturing with cost of quality and being able to pull this information and understanding the cost aspect of manufacturing and operations. He/she will be managing a team of (1-2) cost accountants and need to understand growth and training opportunity. This person also needs to be flexible (25% of the time) going to Salt Lake City, Utah as the employer is opening up a new manufacturing site. This role is paying between $133,629-$182,000/year.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting

     

    - 10+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance in a Manufacturing environment

     

    - Understanding of Bill of Materials, Cost Impacts

     

    - Experience with management (1-2) Cost Accountants

     

    - Familiar with ERP systems Oracle Fusion or SAP

    - FAR/DFAR
