    Description

    This position will support our Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (https://www.childserve.org/jojos-pediatric-rehabilitation-unit-intro/) , the only freestanding, comprehensive pediatric inpatient rehabilitation program in the state of Iowa.

     

    Schedule

     

    + 2 shifts per week , 6:00am-6: 0 0pm, with a weekend rotation

     

    How You’ll Make an Impact

     

    + Assist with daily care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while honoring each child’s privacy and dignity.

    + Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure each child’s unique needs are met.

    + Help children look and feel their best by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for scheduled activities.

    + Support families by sharing updates and reinforcing care techniques that promote each child’s progress and well-being.

    + Accurately document care provided and maintain compliance with ChildServe policies and professional standards.

     

    What You’ll Need

     

    + Active DIA certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa .

    + Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

    + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs , be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand .

    + Ability to read, write, and speak the English language .
