    What You Will Do

    - JOB SUMMARY

    Primary duty is to manage payroll controls and processes, including management of payroll interfaces and payroll for remote locations. Utilize expertise and experience in multi-company, multi-jurisdictional payrolls to analyze payroll processing for issues, decide the best way to resolve the issue, and implement or oversee implementation of the resolution. This position plays a critical role in payroll general ledger activity, audits, and backups for assigned pay groups

    - WHAT YOU WILL DO

    + Manages weekly inbound/outbound system interfaces for HCM and/or vendor activity, including identifying issues, errors, and variances, deciding on best resolutions, and recommending processes and procedures to prevent recurrence.

    + As part of payroll team, handles a portion of weekly/biweekly payroll processing activities

    + Manages payroll for remote locations (i.e. Danville, McAdoo), including oversight and support for local staff, identification and resolution of issues, and recommendations for processes and procedures.

    + As part of payroll team, handles a portion of the tax registration, configuration, reporting, notices, adjustments, tax return amendments and error resolution.

    + Manages the accounting of disbursements for payroll.

    + as backup for supervisor and director of critical payroll processing functions, system security, IME Shadow payroll, weekly audits, and problem resolution

    + Reconciles and prepares weekly payroll funding vouchers and other reporting.

    + Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    - REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education and Experience:

    + High School Diploma / GED and 9+ years of related work experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study and 5+ years related work experience.

    + Experience to include, but is not limited to, multi-company, multi-state payroll.

    + Must be 21 years of age or older.

    Knowledge of:

    + Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams.

    Skilled in:

    - PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    License / Certifications:

    + Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

    + Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)

    Work Environment and Physical Demand

    + Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves objects up to 50 lbs.

    + Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods.

    + Requires prolonged machine operation including vehicle, computer, and keyboard equipment.
