    DESCRIPTION

    * Weekends Acute Care- Part time and PRN*

     

    _We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. The PTA will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and assist in restoring optimal mobility and function._

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist the Physical Therapist in developing treatment plans for patients

    + Help patients perform exercises and stretches as prescribed by the Physical Therapist

    + Administer therapeutic techniques such as massages and electrical stimulation

    + Monitor patients' progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist

    + Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue at home

    + Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

    REQUIREMENTS

    + Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field

    + State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    + Ability to work well in a team environment

    + Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility and exercises

    + Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and equipment
