    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    At HCA Healthcare, we are committed to providing our patients and care providers with the highest quality healthcare services. HCA’s Digital Transformation and Innovation (DT&I) team delivers a step change in that direction through clinically led integration of digital and AI technologies into care.

     

    As a Technical Product Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the development and execution of our AI Platform. Reporting to the Director of AI Platform and ML Engineering, you will work closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to deliver core AI Platform tooling and solutions for HCA. Your technical expertise and product management skills will be essential in defining requirements, prioritizing features, and ensuring the successful deployment, promotion and scaling of AI, ML, and Data Science Solutions.

    What you will do in this role:

    + Assist in the development and execution of the product roadmap for the AI Platform across MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps.

    + Identify opportunities for Platform enhancements based on helpdesk and support activities driving a ‘solve each problem once’ approach to bespoke development and bug fixes.

    + Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs in the MLOps, LLMops, and AgentOps spaces at HCA. This includes identifying open source and vendor provided solutions for core problems the Platform team is solving for.

    + Collaborate with engineering and data science to define and prioritize product requirements.

    + Write detailed product specifications and user stories for platform development and integration.

    + Support the communication of value proposition and progress of AI Platform capabilities to internal stakeholders.

    + Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement.

    + Stay current with advancements in AI, Agentic AI, and related technologies in order for the platform to stay ahead of upcoming needs for the AI, ML, and Data Science teams at HCA.

    + Support collaboration across HCA business functions, IT, and enterprise product teams to ensure integrated execution.

    + Ensure that the AI Platform supports our needs for scalability, security, and responsible AI governance.

    + Typical work week hours can vary depending on workload and project deliverables

    What qualifications you will need:

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field - Required

    + Master’s degree - Preferred

    + 5+ years of experience in product management or a related technical role - Required

    + Strong technical background with hands-on experience using and managing requirements for products incorporating AI/ML models, generative AI technologies, and AI agentic development.

    + Experience with agile development methodologies.

    + Experience with cloud-based AI platforms and services (e.g. GCP, Azure).

    + Experience with product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

    + Understanding of responsible AI principles and best practices Required

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors:

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    + Passion for AI and its potential to transform healthcare - Preferred

    Work Location/Schedule:

    + Remote (U.S. Only) - M-F, 8am – 5pm - Central Time

    Travel Required:

    + This job requires travel to Nashville, TN to attend final interview, 3-day New Hire Orientation, quarterly team meetings, and other travel on as-needed basis
