What You'll Do:

+ Assist with screening and inspecting individuals, packages, and materials entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to questions and requests for assistance.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and maintaining logs as required by site procedures.

+ Document and report all observed irregularities, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

+ Support emergency response activities and assist in implementing evacuation or lockdown procedures as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
