As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a utilities location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises and respond promptly to situations. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor the location for any suspicious behavior and report security-related concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities.

+ Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the utility facility, verifying identification and credentials as required.

+ Support emergency response activities, including coordinating with local law enforcement or first responders when necessary.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, patrols, and any incidents that occur during the shift.

+ Maintain awareness of the unique risks associated with utility environments and adapt security-related procedures accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A concealed carry weapons permit is required.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
