Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Plymouth, MN. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a Bachelor's degree in engineering. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be motivated and able to work independently, and have a knack for problem-solving and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

+ Provide direct production support for 1st shift medical device catheter production.

+ Work on the manufacturing floor, investigating yield issues and catheter scrap.

+ Collaborate with functional teams to foster a strong operations environment.

+ Respond to escalations from Operations regarding scrap quality issues, process questions, and equipment errors.

+ Build relationships and coach operators.

+ Engage in scrap dissection and yield improvement.

+ Perform basic equipment troubleshooting.

+ Participate in ergonomic safety projects.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 0-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.

+ Direct production support and front-line, hands-on experience.

+ Prior medical device experience is preferred.

+ Internship or hands-on experience is preferred.

+ Experience in tutoring, babysitting, or similar roles demonstrating coaching/teaching ability is nice to have.

Work Environment

This role is based in Plymouth, MN and requires full-time, on-site work. The position operates on the 1st shift from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with some flexibility in coverage. The role involves working primarily in a clean room environment, providing frontline engineering support and responding to operational escalations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
