Job Title: Construction Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) inspector/technician to support ongoing and upcoming Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) projects. This role involves a two-year project in Boulder, providing an excellent opportunity for growth and leadership in the field.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct thorough inspections of roadway construction to ensure compliance with CDOT standards.
+ Perform soil and concrete testing as required for quality assurance.
+ Utilize inspection skills to support CDOT projects effectively.
+ Lead projects and assist in securing additional work opportunities.
+ Collaborate with team members to maintain quality and safety standards.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CMT technician.
+ Active Western Alliance for Quality Transportation Construction (WAQTC) certification.
+ Previous experience with CDOT projects.
+ Proficiency in roadway construction, soil testing, and concrete testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ American Concrete Institute (ACI) certification is a plus.
+ Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association (CAPA) A&B certifications are advantageous.
+ Experience in asphalt testing and transportation projects.
Work Environment
This position is based onsite in Boulder County, supporting CDOT work in the field. The project has recently commenced and is expected to last for two years. The role requires working in outdoor conditions and collaborating with a dynamic team to achieve project goals.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arvada, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
