Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Walnut Creek, California. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the company’s financial strategies through in-depth analysis and forecasting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and skilled at delivering actionable insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and long-term growth plans.

+ Build and maintain financial models for channel mix, promotions, and margin optimization.

+ Support operations by monitoring margin contributions and cost factors.

+ Deliver accurate monthly reports: P& L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, channel performance, and KPIs.

+ Perform variance analysis and highlight trends.

+ Recommend ways to optimize marketing spend and supply chain efficiency.

+ Conduct ad hoc analyses.

+ Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on forecasts, promotions, and ROI.

+ Partner with Operations on inventory, cost of goods, and logistics planning.

+ Translate financial results into actionable insights for leadership.

+ Improve FP& A processes, tools, and systems for scalability.

+ Ensure data accuracy across ERP, Power BI, and planning platforms.

+ Recommend best practices for margin analysis and forecasting.

+ Promote financial transparency and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

+ 5+ years of progressive FP& A or corporate finance experience

+ Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.

+ Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with ERP and BI tools preferred.

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to simplify financial concepts for non-financial teams.

+ Background in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments preferred.

+ Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

+ Strong business acumen, curiosity, and proactive problem-solving mindset.
