    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Harahan, Louisiana. In this role, you will handle critical data entry tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring the accuracy of records and supporting operational needs. This is a \short-term contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within the wholesale distribution industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately input data into computer systems and databases, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

    • Organize and verify information to ensure completeness and accuracy before entry.

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel to update, manage, and analyze data effectively.

    • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve data quality.

    • Maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information throughout the data entry process.

    • Generate reports and summaries based on entered data to support decision-making.

    • Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.

    • Assist in streamlining data entry processes to enhance overall efficiency.

    • Provide administrative support related to data management tasks as needed.

    • Communicate with the Chief of Staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in data entry or related administrative roles.

     

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling large volumes of information.

    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • Familiarity with data security and confidentiality protocols.

    • Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
