SMX is seeking accomplished Senior Technical Analysts for developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Major tasks will include creating reports, interfaces, and extensions using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Reports. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, performing system upgrades, and ensuring system performance. The role requires technical skills like SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Oracle Application Development Framework, Java, and Shell Scripts. This is a hybrid role supporting a Lackland, TX program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Development and customization: Design and develop custom applications, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS to meet business needs.
+ Integration: Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems, often using tools like XML Publisher or APIs.
+ Technical support: Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for the Oracle EBS environment.
+ System administration: Perform system analysis, conduct upgrades, and ensure system performance, stability, and data integrity.
+ Testing: Perform functional testing and debugging of RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components.
+ Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development processes and solutions.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Required Skills & Experience:
+ Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) technical development.
+ Proficiency in Oracle technologies including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
+ Familiarity with Oracle Workflow and XML Publisher.
+ Understanding of key EBS modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, and Projects.
+ Experience with data conversions and Oracle APIs.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
+ Minimum of 10 years’ experience. Directly related postgraduate study may be substituted for experience at the rate of three credit hours for three months of experience up to 36 credit hours.
+ Experience in three of the following four focus areas:
+ Oracle Cloud development and Oracle APEX experience.
+ Oracle E-Business Suite R12 experience.
+ Line of accounting (LOA) implementation experience.
+ Oracle EBS core financial accounting knowledge with a concentration in Projects Management, Cash Management, and Treasury Management modules experience to include financial accounting experience for transition of legacy financial statements and interrelated data functionality from legacy system to the modules
+ Contracting LifeCycle Management (CLM), Procurement, iSupplier (or similar product), and Purchasing modules experience.
+ Public Trust clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

The proposed salary for this position is:
$87,600—$146,000 USD
