ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to ensure our food products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and consistency. In this role, you’ll conduct product testing, process checks, and audits, working closely with production teams to uphold our commitment to excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
+ Conduct tests and audits on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
+ Record and maintain accurate documentation of test results, audits, and quality procedures
+ Provide feedback and recommendations to production teams to address quality or safety concerns
+ Calibrate and maintain lab testing equipment for accuracy and reliability
+ Train new team members on GSF-specific quality and safety procedures
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
+ Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
+ 1–3 years of quality assurance or food safety experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Working knowledge of food safety principles, quality systems, and regulatory requirements (HACCP, GMP, etc.)
+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work independently and in a team setting
+ Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel)
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
