VITRA Health understands that most caregivers face tremendous financial and emotional challenges, often without compensation or support for their selfless efforts. That's why, at VITRA, we provide comprehensive assistance to caregivers with financial support, a customized care plan, community resources, and caring teams of nurses and case managers.
This role is a full-time role at 40 hours per week. This position is not remote/hybrid eligible.
Job Overview:
The Human Resources Director is responsible for developing, aligning, and executing strategic initiatives that strengthen workforce retention, workplace culture, and colleague engagement across Vitra. This role serves as a collaborative, trusted advisor to leaders and colleagues, modeling effective partnerships and leading enterprise-wide initiatives that drive strategic growth and business outcomes.
Essential Functions:
+ Provide oversight for the Human Resources department, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational and recruiting needs.
+ Serve as a strategic HR business partner with strong business acumen, analytical capability, and sound judgment.
+ Constructively challenge assumptions and offer innovative, practical solutions to strengthen organizational talent capabilities.
+ Lead organizational recruitment, workforce planning, engagement strategies, and other talent-related programs and processes.
+ Participate in strategic planning cycles and align HR priorities to support Vitra's organizational objectives.
+ Mentor and develop HR staff to support effective daily operations, including compensation, performance management, and employee coaching.
+ Advise and coach leaders on talent management matters such as corrective action, performance improvement plans, terminations, and risk mitigation.
+ Engage executive leadership to identify and address leadership development needs, deploying appropriate development programs, and coaching.
+ Lead the implementation and ongoing refinement of the performance evaluation process.
+ Lead and collaborate on internal investigations, working with Compliance, Legal, and Leadership as needed; ensure adherence to policy, past practice, and regulatory requirements.
+ Maintain expert knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements; proactively mitigate legal risk and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture across all levels of the organization.
+ Oversee employment agreements, contract renewals, and contract management processes.
+ Identify and monitor key performance indicators for human resources and talent management functions.
+ Evaluate organizational success and competitiveness using relevant HR metrics.
+ In partnership with recruitment, research, develop, and administer competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and incentive programs.
+ Ensure operational excellence by measuring HR team efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Provide guidance and leadership on HR, compensation, and benefits issues, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
+ Manage and maintain the department's budget.
+ Foster culture of customer service and commitment to quality care.
+ Serve as a brand ambassador for Vitra reflecting our vision, mission, and values.
+ Show genuine interest and compassion and commitment to the diversity of our clients and team members.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Licensure Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
+ 6–8 years of human resource management experience required; experience in strategic HR, talent management, or business development is strongly preferred.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing teams.
+ SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
+ High-energy, collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
+ Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
+ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
+ Strong supervisory and leadership capabilities.
+ Thorough knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and talent management principles.
Physical and Environmental Demands:
+ Works in a clean, well-lit environment with fluctuating temperatures in close proximity to others.
+ Requires substantial periods of repetitive work utilizing a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
+ Requires lifting and carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; require pushing and pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; require walking and standing; requires frequent sitting more than 75% of the workday; requires the ability to navigate stairs; requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment.
