Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Surgical Unit

Starting Wage: $35.38/hour

We're hiring **experienced RNs & new grads** f or our Inpatient Surgical Unit! At CHI St. Alexius Health, we believe in **\#humankindness** , delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

As an RN, you'll be a vital part of our team, utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care for diverse surgical patients. You'll champion patient recovery, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide holistic care for pre- and post-operative surgical patients.

+ Collaborate with surgeons and specialists for optimal outcomes.

+ Model best practices and uphold high clinical standards.

Skills Needed:

+ Strong clinical skills in surgical care.

+ Organizational and crisis management abilities.

+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Agreement:

+ FTE Status: .9, 72 Hours Per Pay Period

+ Shift type: Day shift/Night shift Rotating

+ Shift length: 12 hour shift 0700-1930 or 1900-0730

+ On Call Expectations: None

+ Weekend/Holiday Frequency: Every third weekend for 12 hour shift RN. 2 holidays per year

+ Job ClassificationL Non-Exempt

Job Requirements

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Education: Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Licensure: Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.

Experience: At least two (2) years clinical experience within specialty area preferred.
