Our client, a leading automotive support organization, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Technical Support Specialist (Call Center) to join their dynamic team. As a vital member of the Parts and Technical Support department, you will play a key role in assisting customers with troubleshooting and resolving product issues.
**Job Title:** Technical Support Specialist (Call Center)
**Location:** Agoura Hills, CA
**Pay:** $22.00
**Shift:** 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
+ Assist customers via phone, email, and in-person to troubleshoot product issues, primarily related to automotive equipment such as car lifts, tire changers, and wheel balancers.
+ Diagnose product problems by analyzing customer descriptions and technical manuals, providing clear guidance for resolution.
+ Manage customer service tickets efficiently using Freshdesk, ensuring timely updates and resolution tracking.
+ Order and source repair parts for products, coordinate with shipping and production teams to expedite fulfillment.
+ Train and support other team members in technical diagnosis and customer service best practices.
What's Needed?
+ At least 2 years of experience in customer service, order processing, or a related field.
+ Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems and ticketing platforms.
+ Strong data entry skills with the ability to type 45-60 WPM accurately.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
+ Experience working with automotive equipment, including familiarity with car lifts, tire changers, and wheel balancers, is highly preferred.
