About the Role
We are seeking an experienced **Construction Safety Manager** to join Microsoft’s Land Development & Community (LDC) team. This is a high-impact role where you will serve as the **on-site safety lead** , ensuring compliance with Microsoft’s Global Construction Safety Policy and local regulations on a fast-paced, large-scale project in the data center industry.

Key Responsibilities
+ Act as the **primary safety lead** on-site for Microsoft’s LDC team.
+ Monitor and enforce compliance with Microsoft’s safety standards and local regulations.
+ Conduct **daily safety observations and inspections** using Enablon and Compass systems.
+ Review and validate GC’s Site-Specific Safety Plan and High-Risk Activity protocols.
+ Lead weekly focused safety inspections and document findings.
+ Support **incident investigations** , root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
+ Provide feedback on contractor safety programs (ERP, Blasting Plan, Extreme Weather Plan).
+ Collaborate with Construction Manager and Environmental Coordinator for integrated compliance.
+ Track subcontractor work hours and safety performance metrics.
+ Promote a **culture of safety** through engagement and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field.
+ **Experience:**
+ **10+ years** in construction safety management (civil/infrastructure projects preferred).
+ **7+ years** managing independent safety programs.
+ **Certifications:** CSP, CHST, or equivalent preferred.
+ **Skills:**
+ Strong leadership and communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety platforms (Enablon, Compass).
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal Candidate
+ 15 years of construction safety experience with a related degree.
+ Proven ability to lead safety programs on large-scale projects.
+ Expert knowledge of safety compliance and risk management.
