Job Title: VDC DesignerJob Description
We are seeking a talented VDC Designer to support a project phase with a general contractor at TSMC. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed 3D models using Revit, ensuring they align with project standards and goals.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and manage detailed 3D models using Revit, ensuring alignment with project standards and goals.
+ Utilize tools like Navisworks to identify and resolve conflicts between building systems, collaborating closely with MEP teams.
+ Provide remote coordination and support for field operations, ensuring accurate integration of 3D scans and field data into project models.
+ Prepare technical documentation and ensure the accuracy and quality of all models, adhering to project requirements.
+ Stay up to date with advancements in BIM and VDC technologies, continuously applying new knowledge to improve processes and project outcomes.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Revit with a rating of 8/10, managing detailed 3D models.
+ Proficiency in Navisworks with a rating of 8/10 for clash detection.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BIM Designer.
+ Experience in 3D low voltage designs in Revit.
+ Ability to coordinate own designs.
+ Experience in LOD 300-400.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in AutoCAD, BIM360, and BIM Track is a plus.
+ Experience working in the advanced manufacturing space.
Work Environment
The role is on-site at TSMC, working in a trailer five days a week. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the construction manager and provides a pathway for potential conversion after the five-month phase.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
