    Job Title: Depo - Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator on the 3rd shift, where you will play a crucial role in our production process. This manual position requires consistent lifting and attention to detail to ensure product specifications are met accurately. You will be working with both bags and boxes, depending on the production line, and will be responsible for handling equipment with care.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate machinery and handle products with precision to meet weight specifications.

    + Lift and manage boxes or bags weighing between 35 lbs to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

    + Utilize the automatic sowing machine to close bags and assemble pallets safely.

    + Complete essential documentation including metal detection and scale sheets hourly, and post-breaks.

    + Assist with quality control by collecting samples for QC/QA.

    + Engage in general labor duties including packaging, sanitation, and using electric pallet jacks.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and write for accurate production sheet completion.

    + Physical capability to consistently lift between 35-50 lbs.

    + Proficiency in working independently and collaboratively.

    + Minimum height requirement of 5'5 to operate machinery effectively.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with machine operation and production processes.

    + Experience with data entry and collection for auditing purposes.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean and well-organized facility with varying temperature rooms. Experience a chocolate-scented environment with designated areas for breaks both inside and outside. The Depo Room maintains a comfortable room temperature, the Panning Room is slightly cooler, and the Refining Room can reach up to 95 degrees in the summer.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
