    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a critical role in moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. You will operate forklifts and other mobile equipment to ensure that all materials are available for the production floor with a tight two-hour lead time, meeting high production goals each hour.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate forklifts and reach trucks to move materials efficiently.

    + Spend 50% of the day on forklift operations, with the remaining time dedicated to walking, cleaning, material handling by hand, and other assigned duties.

    + Utilize warehouse management systems for order selection and inventory management.

    + Conduct cycle counts, order picking, loading, unloading, and maintain warehouse inventory.

    + Perform quality control checks and maintain high standards of performance and attendance.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in forklift operation or mobile equipment.

    + Experience with stand-up forklifts and electric-powered equipment.

    + Ability to verify forklift certifications and skills through references.

    + Proven track record of positive performance and attendance in distribution and order selection.

    This is a Contract position based out of Colonial Heights, VA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.91 - $23.91/hr.
