    **Pay:** $17/hour

    Job Description

    Join our team as a **Forklift Operator and Material Handler** in a large, climate-controlled distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for building pallets of canned dry goods for shipment to grocery stores and retailers. You will operate a **stand-up forklift** in a fast-paced production environment, picking, packing, and customizing pallets based on client orders. A headset will guide you through the warehouse to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

    Responsibilities

    + Build pallets for canned dry goods according to client specifications.

    + Operate a stand-up forklift in a high-volume environment.

    + Pick and pack items using headset-directed instructions.

    + Navigate the warehouse efficiently to fulfill orders.

    + Ensure pallets meet customization requirements for each client.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven experience operating stand-up forklifts.

    + Strong order picking and packing skills.

    + Ability to perform general labor tasks in a fast-paced setting.

    Additional Requirements

    + Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift.

    + Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.

    + Minimum of 6 months forklift experience **or** 1+ year in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
